Day - 1 : Paro airport arrival-Thimphu

Land in the Buddhist country of Bhutan at Paro. While enjoying the natural surroundings seeing the prayer flags you will be driven down to Thimphu which is the capital of Bhutan. Check in at the hotel and overnight stay there.

Day - 2 : Thimphu-Gangtey(150 kms)

After breakfast embark on the visit to places on Thimphu. Explore the National Memorial Chhorten, Trashichhodzong and the institute of Zorig Chusum. Take art and craft lessons at the painting school. Take a trip to the National Library. After lunch take the road drive to Gangtey via Dochula Pass. Stop over at Gangtey overnight for camping.

Day - 3 : Gangtey-Gogona(15kms)

Start trekking up the Tsele-la Pass from morning going past the meadows and fields. After lunch you will embark upon the forests on your descending way. Arrive at Gogona which is a small nomadic village speaking Bjopkha. This is very scenic location too. Post lunch take a stroll around the village and you might shop for some local handmade articles. You also get a chance to follow the local rituals of the village. Camping at Gogona overnight.

Day - 4 : Gogona-Khotokha(16kms)

Start trekking upwards from the Gogona village. Walking past the Oak, cypress and fir forests you will reach the Shobju-la pass. Begin trekking downwards from here to the Khotokha valley. Soak in the natural beauty of this picturesque place. Camping overnight.

Day - 5 : Thimphu-Paro Departure

Post breakfast, start trekking upwards to a pass descend down through the vegetation while crossing Chazam village. After crossing the bridge you reach Wangdue Phodrang. It is popular town with many interesting scenic places to see. Explore the beauty and richness of this town. Stay overnight.

Day - 6 : Wangdue Phodrang-Punakha-Thimphu

Post breakfast, start trekking to the Punakha valley. You will encounter some of the most scenic surroundings. Take a drive to Thimphu there-after. Embark on the sightseeing to the national textile museum, Paper making Factory, Handicrafts emporium, Folk heritage museum and the markets. Stay overnight.

Day - 7 : Thimphu-Paro(65kms)

Post breakfast drive to Paro via Simtokha Dzong monastery. Within paro you will find many historic buildings. Post lunch explore the Ringpung Dzong, Drukgyel Dzong, Ta Dzong and the Kyichu Lhakhang. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day - 8 : Departure from Paro

Post breakfast, drive down to the Paro airport for your destination flight.
